How to Play
Quick official rulebook for Legends TCG · Rise of the Pack. Same steps as the Teach Pack tutorial — written down in one place.
Goal
Reduce the enemy hero to 0 HP. Both heroes start at 40 HP.
Turn flow
- Start of turn — gain mana (turn 1 = 1, up to 10). Draw a card.
- Main phase — play Creatures, Spells, and Traps from your hand (pay mana). Attack with ready creatures.
- End turn — press End Turn. Opponent plays.
DDL Coin If you go second, you have a one-time Coin: once per game you may play a card that costs 1 more than your current mana.
Creature types & keywords
- Creature — lives on the board. Attacks enemy creatures or the hero when ready.
- Spell — usually resolves once (many need a target).
- Trap — set face-down; springs on triggers (attack, summon, spell, etc.). Owner chooses Spring / Hold when a trap pops.
When can a creature attack? Not the turn it was played (summoning sickness), unless it has Rush (creatures only — never the hero that turn).
Taunt If the enemy has a Taunt creature, you must attack that first. Face and other bodies are blocked until Taunt is gone.
Rush Can attack creatures the turn it enters — still cannot hit the hero that turn.
Poison Destroys any creature it fights (ignores the usual ATK ≥ HP kill rule). Some Poison is temporary until end of turn.
Play Effect when the card is played from hand.
Death Effect when the creature dies.
Haunt Ongoing / graveyard-style effect (see card text).
Passive Always-on while the permanent is in play.
Combat
- Click your ready creature, then a legal target (green = you win, yellow = trade, red = bad trade).
- You can stack multiple attackers into one enemy when legal.
- Equal ATK kills (rules: equal-ATK kill). Poison kills the body it fights even when ATK is lower.
Modes
- Teach Pack — guided first lesson.
- Vs Bot · Easy / Advanced — pick difficulty in lobby before play. Easy is real Easy; Advanced is harder AI.
- BOOST — both start at 10 mana.
- PvP — two humans, same rules. No undo (keeps traps secret).
Hands & overdraw
Hand max is 10. Extra cards drawn when full go to the graveyard.
